Cybersecurity Reality Check: Who is really affected by the CRA? “We’re not a tech company” doesn’t hold up anymore. The Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) does not target specific industries, but rather products with digital elements. If a product contains software, connectivity, or a digital interface, it likely falls within the scope of the law. Example: A water filter becomes a security risk the moment it connects to an app via Bluetooth. The same applies to smart light bulbs, connected coffee makers, or digitally enhanced industrial components. As soon as products communicate or receive updates, they become part of the IoT’s attack surface. This post is part of our “Cybersecurity Reality Check” blog series, in which we examine the topic from various angles and explore how it impacts our industry. 👉 Read the full article to dive deeper into what the CRA really means in practice. https://ow.ly/aVql50Z0Y2Z #CybersecurityRealityCheck #CyberResilienceAct #CRA #IoT #dSPACE
