🔒 Is your product secure or just compliant? Audits, threat models, SBOMs, they are all essential steps. But they cannot guarantee resilience. Compliance demonstrates intent. Security demands proof. Recent history shows the risk of “paper compliance.” Documentation gets completed, processes are in place, and yet exploits still happen. Why? Because vulnerabilities do not care about governance structures. Continuous testing and validation turn assumptions into evidence. Point-in-time snapshots are no longer enough as systems evolve. This post is part of our “Cybersecurity Reality Check” blog series, in which we examine the topic from various angles and explore how it impacts our industry.
