🚴 le de Tour France 2026 kicks off in Barcelona this weekend and we explored the science behind the sport at a breakfast session with Team Picnic PostNL at our Barcelona offices. This year, cyclists will ride more than 3,300km, roughly the distance from Barcelona to Reykjavik, while climbing 54,450m, six times the height of Mount Everest! Elite cycling is the ultimate stress test. For years, we’ve drawn on our scientific capabilities in taste, texture, and application to co-create nutrition solutions that keep riders fueled mile after mile. It was incredible to hear how our solutions help cyclists sharpen focus, boost endurance, strengthen resilience, and accelerate recovery. Our colleagues even got to taste-test some of the products.
