What a wonderful three days! From 7–9 May, we welcomed hundreds of delegates from across Western Australia, interstate and overseas to the beautiful Esplanade Hotel Fremantle by Rydges for three inspiring days of learning, collaboration and connection. With six outstanding keynote speakers including Stanislas Dehaene, Zach Groshell, Tara Thiagarajan, Prof Dr Stuart Kime, EBE, Kristopher Boulton and Kathy Rastle, and 90+ carefully selected presenters delivering concurrent sessions across the conference program, attendees engaged with the latest evidence-based research, practical strategies and meaningful discussions focused on improving outcomes for children and young people. It was incredibly rewarding to see so many teachers, school leaders, allied health professionals, researchers and policy makers come together with a shared commitment to strengthening literacy, language and learning support. The overall energy, engagement and generosity of everyone involved made this year’s conference truly special - and the overwhelmingly positive feedback we’ve received so far reflects the impact of these important conversations.
