I was immensely surprised and deeply humbled when I received a beautiful gift—a blue diary—from BD India as part of their 30-year celebrations in the country. What made it truly special was not just the gift itself, but the thoughtful personal touch it carried: the diary had the signature of the current Managing Director and a heartfelt thank-you note recognizing my contributions. Though I was with BD for 16 years, 10 of those were spent in India, and those years remain some of the most fulfilling of my professional journey. To be remembered and appreciated even years later speaks volumes about the culture of BD. It is a company that does not just celebrate milestones, but also honors the people who have been part of the journey. This small yet meaningful gesture is a powerful reminder of what makes organizations truly great and sustainable. It’s not only about growth, profits, or longevity—it’s about remembering, valuing, and staying connected with the people who contributed along the way. That spirit of gratitude and recognition is what builds enduring institutions. I remain deeply thankful to BD India for this thoughtful recognition, and I wish them continued success as they move forward with the same values, passion, and commitment that have guided them for the past three decades.
