🥰 One of my favorite producers in the USA tucked in the hills of Eola-Amity Hills AVA The Lingua Franca Winery estate was founded by Lawrence Stone In recent years, they have been acquired by Constellation Brands but the wines remain stellar. 🍇 Countless producers do wonders with Pinot Noir in Oregon but IMO, there are a handful that make true Burgundian-style wines - Lingua Franca is one of those. 🍷 My favorites are ‘The Plow’ Pinot Noir and the Estate Chardonnay & Pinot. The Avni Pinot offers tremendous QPR as an entry-level wine. The Pinots are subtley layered wines with punchy forrest berry fruit. The Chardonnays offer plenty of stone & tropical fruit notes with racey Chablis-like acidity. 👏 To winemaker Thomas Savre
