Fantastic day today at the official Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust opening of Woodview - our new adult acute and PICU wards - in Whalley. It was really lovely to have met Claire Murdoch (National Director for Mental Health at NHSE) who gave an inspiring talk and officially opened the unit. The plans for this 100 acre site look amazing! It was also good to catch up with Hamad Saleem who is one our passionate Public Governors and it was good to share ideas. Well done to our leadership team in the Pennine Network and all of our teams who are providing good care and support to our patients and their carers/families. #mentalhealth #leadership #nhs #healthcare #psychiatry #lancashire
