Inspiring a young engineer! 🚂 This morning my lad needed some help with the final piece of his creation. He couldn’t quite figure out how to connect the motor to the wheels. We had used gears before but there was quite a bit of stress breaking gears and burning motors. I thought a belt might provide a kind of clutch but was there a rubber band in the house… After a quick search we managed to find one and complete the creation. My mum was one for never throwing anything out. Note the Baxter’s box is from her home dialysis treatment circa 1988. Dispite her illness she was great for enabling me with Lego, Technic and RC. As a teen I remember boxing up that Technic in her loft. Maybe far in the future I’d had children that might enjoy it 🤔 I always tell my kids the Napoleon Hill line (I think) “we become what we think about”.
