Everyone talks about scientific innovation. Few see where it begins. Even fewer know how long it really takes. They think it starts with bold claims on big stages. It doesn’t. It starts with: - Years of experiments - Careful validation - The curiosity to keep asking questions when the answers aren’t clear It starts in the lab. I’ve spent over 7 years leading and running this work. Designing studies. Running experiments. Analysing data. Testing, refining, testing again. Alongside talented colleagues, across genomics, reproductive health, and toxicology. Different countries. Different specialisms. Same drive to turn knowledge into progress. In male fertility, this matters. We need better tests. Better treatments. And a better understanding of sperm biology. So couples don’t have to rely on trial and error. That progress starts here, with people who care about getting the science right. Here is to all the scientists just like us (Jayme & Justin) dissecting testicles and processing sperm to advance knowledge and push this field forward!
