Knowledge management for everyone is knowledge management for no-one. I bet every industrial company can feel with me on that one. (thanks to Jakob Eschrich for the reference quote from Arrowhead Game Studios). Industrial knowledge workers have deep niche workflows so specific they can't make a dent into their problem with any of the existing knowledge management systems, even though, knowledge is at the very base of their work. So what do you do? Our solution is to build a purposeful knowledge management just for that. One that goes deep, not broad into industrial complex knowledge bases... One that helps companies to growth, not to cut headcount, by enabling bigger and better decisions, not faster more efficient ones... One that puts the team over the individual, because really knowledge management is a team challenge, not an individual one... One that puts the application of knowledge over the mere retrieval, because let's be honest, applying 20 years of engineering expertise knowledge correctly is more important than perfectly organizing files by category. Those are the thoughts that shape MAIA.
