I would like to draw your attention to the current recommendation of using 4 enzymes for instrument pre-cleaning. As per internationally recognized guidelines such as the USA CDC and USA AORN, only 3 enzymes—Protease, Amylase, and Lipase—are recommended for effective enzymatic cleaning. There is no guideline-based recommendation mandating the use of a 4th enzyme. This practice is not aligned with CDC and AORN guidelines and may lead to unnecessary compliance pressure on healthcare facilities. Thanking you.
