Excited to share our latest publication in CVIR Oncology! 🗞️ As CT screening detects ever-smaller lung nodules, intraoperative localization becomes increasingly challenging. Surgical precision is essential to reduce patient distress and morbidity from prolonged surgeries and improve clinical outcomes. Interventional radiology plays an increasingly important role in preoperative lesion marking, enabling precise localization and tissue-sparing resection. Our short communication provides a technical roadmap for CT-guided dye-based lung markings using patent blue V and indocyanine green. Specifically, we are excited to be among the first to report initial experiences and technical details on CT-guided indocyanine green-soaked coil placements. If you want to learn more about dye-based lung markings: https://rdcu.be/e0gTJ A heartfelt thank you to our surgery and interventional radiology teams at Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin for their dedication to improving patient care and outstanding collaboration.
