Research and teaching with passion

From Conflict Dynamics to a Culture of Safety I am pleased to announce the publication of our new article in the latest issue of the journal Die POLIZEI. Together with Keren-Miriam Adam and Susanne Lenz, we analyze workplace conflicts as a complex interplay between psychological dynamics, organizational structure, and law. My contribution integrates: - Attachment Theory (Bowlby): The need for "psychological calories" as a driver for interaction patterns. - Transactional Analysis (Berne): The Karpman Drama Triangle as a symptom of a lack of psychological safety. - Psychological Safety (Edmondson): Pathways from destructive drama to organizational learning. Particularly valuable is the legal perspective provided by Susanne Lenz, which demonstrates how duty of care and leadership practice sustainably intertwine. A big thank you goes to Dr. Ina Wagner (OvGU) for the inspiring suggestions during my studies. The article advocates for an interdisciplinary approach that transforms the systemic roots of conflict. #PsychologicalSafety #OrganizationalCulture #PoliceStudies #ConflictManagement #Leadership
