⁉️ What can a group of strangers achieve in just one week when they unite around a shared purpose? ⁉️ 🇧🇼 This week in Botswana, I witnessed a powerful answer. 🇧🇼 Together with an amazing team from BOOKBRIDGE, leaders from MANN+HUMMEL, and four inspiring local social entrepreneurs, we co-created and launched a new social enterprise in Tsutsubega, a village near the Okavango Delta. The venture aims to create sustainable income opportunities for women through locally crafted products and community-based entrepreneurship. And YES ... before the launch celebration was even over, the venture had already secured its first order. 🚀🚀🚀 What continues to inspire me about the BOOKBRIDGE Action Learning Programme is its unique combination of leadership development and real-world impact. Participants don't work on case studies. They co-create purpose-driven enterprises: businesses designed around Muhammad Yunus' Social Business principles with the objective to create sustainable economic opportunities while addressing pressing social challenges. This action learning approach allows us to bring many ideas from Positive Psychology into practice: ✨ Crafting personal leadership visions ✨ Building on strengths ✨ Creating agency & hope ✨ Developing resilience Essentially, unlocking human potential in service of something bigger than ourselves ... and that is what Yunel is all about.
