This project is a powerful example of what we can achieve when passion, openness and shared ownership come together. In Munich, we presented a fully automated manufacturing cell that redefines how wire harnesses can be produced — faster, more consistent and more scalable. And this matters: around 90% of all wire harnesses are still made by hand today. That is now beginning to change. For tesa, the wire harness business is a central pillar of our automotive portfolio. Our adhesive tapes and applicator systems help OEMs and suppliers manage electrification, complexity and variant diversity. By combining adhesive technology with intelligent automation, we can now bring precision, speed and repeatability into a process that has traditionally relied on manual work.
