#Singapore 🇸🇬 — a #business #hub for #ASEAN and a remarkable example of continuously strengthening national #sovereignty 💪🏻 Over the last days, I had the opportunity to join a German delegation focused on #security and #defense and engage with companies, institutions, and experts across Singapore. One topic stood out repeatedly: When we talk about #resilience and #sovereignty in #defense and #security, we often focus on #physical #supply #chains: energy, semiconductors, raw materials, hardware production, logistics. Crucial, no doubt. But what about the #digital #supply #chain? 🤔 On which #digital #platforms do your operations, communication, software delivery, and data actually depend? Who #controls the #operational layer? How quickly can you #adapt? Do you still have real #options when #dependencies become critical? These are exactly the questions we are deeply focus on at meshcloud. For #Singapore, sovereignty is not an abstract political debate. It is a matter of long-term #survival and #resilience for a small but highly capable nation-state. How do organizations build #digital #platforms that provide #productivity and #innovation #speed — while still preserving strategic #flexibility and operational #control? That created many surprisingly familiar parallels to the current #European 🇪🇺 discussion around #digital #sovereignty, #platform #engineering, #cloud #strategy, and #resilient #technology #ecosystems.
