It was a great pleasure for the Korea Germany Technology Cooperation Center (KGTCC) team to join the official opening of Hylium Industries, Inc. European branch in Essen last Friday. And we were honored to get the opportunity to give a congratulatory message, since this opening stands in the long tradition of close, friendly, and trusting relations between #Korea and #Germany. From the world’s first hydrogen-powered #drone to advanced liquid #hydrogen storage and transport systems, and innovative #mobility solutions – Hylium demonstrates how scientific excellence and entrepreneurial spirit can come together to shape the future. The decision to establish Hylium’s first European office in Essen is no coincidence, but rather because the state of #North_Rhine_Westphalia is today the heart of Germany’s hydrogen economy. #NRW The festive atmosphere of this business opening was underlined by the welcoming speeches from Seo Young Kim, CEO of Hylium Industries, Dr. Sang Keun Lee, MD of Hylium Germany, Professor Christoph Wieland, Scientific Director of the #GWI, and Daniel Adler, Head of Innovation of the Essen Wirtschaft (EWG - Essener Wirtschaftsförderung). NRW.Global Business was represented by Becker Astrid, General Manager Asia/Australia. For us at the KGTCC, this event was a moment of genuine joy, since it represents what our mission is all about: Building bridges between Korea and Germany. We are convinced that Hylium’s new branch in Essen will become a place where ideas take shape, collaborations grow, and innovations become reality. We from KGTCC, Dr. Heejune Lee, Eunyoung Cho and myself, warmly congratulate Hylium Industries on this opening and wish this new enterprise great success and strong partnerships with GWI Essen e.V., EWG, vgbe energy, H2UB and Universität Duisburg-Essen in shaping a sustainable, hydrogen-based future.
