I am very proud to share our latest review article on the sustainability impact of inverse vulcanised polymers, that was featured as cover in Sustainability #RSCSustainability#RSCSustainability#RSCSustainability. Our work was the result of an amazing collaborative effort with Liam Dodd, Julia Walz, Leon Deterding, Patrick Lott, Alexander Grimm, Michael Shaver, Tom Hasell and Patrick Theato, where we take a closer look at the life-cycle of inverse vulcanised polymers and if they can be more sustainable alternatives to commodity materials in energy storage, remediation tech, agriculture or construction. This international and interdisciplinary project between the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), University of Liverpool, Pforzheim University and The University of Manchester was a great opportunity to exchange ideas and different perspectives on current challenges.
