The long-awaited Employment Appeal Tribunal judgment in my wasted costs appeal will be handed down tomorrow at 10:30am. The appeal concerns how taxpayer money was used to argue that 54,000 doctors below consultant grade in England were not protected by whistleblowing law. My wasted costs application was lodged in 2019, so I think it's fair to say the legal system has taken its time. For anyone wanting to understand the background, this excellent article by Tommy Greene in Byline Times explains the issues, together with Employment Judge Gary Self's equally important judgment refusing an application to strike out the case over the alleged withholding of key contracts. https://lnkd.in/e9VchAuw Our Notice of Appeal and order from Lord Fairley granting permission to appeal can be read here. https://lnkd.in/enXCZAWh I'll update tomorrow
