One healthcare communication mistake I see all the time: People assume that more information automatically leads to better decisions. I don't think that's always true. Sometimes people don't need more information. They need clearer information. Think about it. Most patients today have access to: Google YouTube Social media AI tools Health websites Information isn't necessarily the problem anymore. Understanding is. I've seen situations where a one-page explanation was more useful than a 20-page report. Not because the report was wrong. But because the explanation was easier to apply. And honestly, I think that's one of the most underestimated challenges in healthcare today. Not access to information. Making sense of it. What's your take? Do you think people need more health information--or better explanations of the information they already have? — I'm Dr. Alisha Naaz, a PharmD-trained medical and scientific writer passionate about translating complex healthcare information into clear, evidence-based content for professional and patient audiences. #MedicalWriting #HealthcareCommunication #ScientificCommunication #HealthLiteracy #MedicalCommunications #PatientEducation
