سعدنا اليوم بزيارة سعادة رئيس جامعة حائل الأستاذ الدكتور بدر بن شجاع الحربي، وسعادة وكيل الجامعة للشؤون الأكاديمية الأستاذ الدكتور زيد مهلهل، وسعادة عميد كلية الآداب والفنون الأستاذ الدكتور بشير بن علي اللويش، وسعادة رئيس قسم السياحة والآثار الدكتور وافي بن فهيد الشمري، وسعادة الدكتور يحيى بن ناصر الفريدي مدير فرع هيئة التراث بمنطقة حائل، وذلك خلال زيارتهم لمشروع بعثة المسح والتنقيب الأثري التدريبي لطلبة برنامج الآثار وإدارة موارد التراث في موقع الحويض الأثري. واطّلع أصحاب السعادة خلال الزيارة على أعمال التنقيب والتوثيق ودراسة الطبقات الأثرية والظواهر المعمارية بالموقع، حيث قدّم أحد طلاب البرنامج شرحًا ميدانيًا حول أعمال الرسم والتوثيق الأثري وآليات العمل العلمي المتبعة في الموقع، بما يعكس مستوى التدريب الميداني والتأهيل العلمي الذي يحظى به الطلبة. د. علي بن مبارك طعيمان رئيس البعثة الأثرية We were honored today by the visit of His Excellency the President of University of Ha’il, Prof. Badr Shujaa Al-Harbi, accompanied by the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Zaid Muhalhil, the Dean of the College of Arts and , Prof. Basheer Ali Al-Luwaish, the Head of the Department of Tourism and Archaeology, Dr. Wafi Fahid Al-Shammari, and Dr. Yahya bin Nasser Al-Fraidi, Director of the Ha’il Branch of the Heritage Commission, during their visit to the archaeological survey and excavation training mission for students of the Archaeology and Heritage Resources Management Program at Al-Huwaidh Archaeological Site. During the visit, the officials reviewed the excavation, documentation, archaeological stratigraphy studies, and architectural features at the site. One of the program’s students delivered a field explanation of the archaeological drawing and documentation processes, as well as the scientific methodologies applied at the site, reflecting the high level of field training and academic preparation provided to the students.
