I'm pleased to share that our research article has been published in Resources, Conservation & Recycling (Q1, Impact Factor 10.9). The study explores the environmental feasibility of upgrading recycled HDPE through reactive extrusion and graft modification, integrating experimental material characterisation with a comprehensive cradle-to-gate Life Cycle Assessment. As a co-author, I was responsible for the complete LCA component of the work, including goal and scope definition, life-cycle inventory development, industrial-scale process modelling, impact assessment, hotspot identification, sensitivity analysis, uncertainty analysis, and interpretation using SimaPro software. This publication further strengthens my interest in applying LCA as a decision-support tool for evaluating the sustainability of emerging materials, products, and manufacturing technologies.
