On Sunday it was World Food Safety Day under the theme “From burden to solutions – safe food everywhere,” with a focus on applying food safety knowledge in daily work.🌍🍕 Across our international locations, colleagues brought food safety to life with a variety of initiatives: 🇮🇳 In India at Dr. Oetker India, the focus was on knowledge and awareness through targeted training sessions on Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety Management Systems and hygiene protocols. These included presentations on key food safety principles, foodborne hazards and the World Food Safety Day theme. In addition, quiz and slogan initiatives as well as a small award ceremony were part of the activities. 🎯 🇹🇷 In Türkiye, a full week of activities created continuous visibility for food safety – from interactive quizzes and awareness videos on cafeteria screens to informative brochures and materials that employees could engage with throughout the day. 🎲 🇧🇷 In Brazil, teams combined learning with experience by organizing a dedicated Food Safety Day lunch.🍴 Alongside thematic content, interactive microbiology displays provided hands-on insights into how contamination can occur in everyday situations – making food safety visible in a very practical way. 🇲🇽 In Mexiko at D'Gari - Dr. Oetker Mexico, colleagues turned food safety into an engaging experience by hosting a Food Safety Fair. 🎉 Through interactive games such as a roulette wheel, memory game and quiz challenges, employees were encouraged to learn, participate and have fun at the same time. From trainings and quizzes to hands-on experiences – all initiatives underline the importance of shared responsibility for food safety in daily work and everyday life. 🤝✅
