At Jebel Ali, one of the world’s busiest container ports, port electrification is becoming operational at scale across cargo handling equipment and the wider terminal ecosystem. Our programme combines electrified container handling equipment with battery-electric trucks supporting inter-terminal flows across the port. A key part of that progress has been our approach. By combining in-house retrofit capabilities with OEM partnerships, we’ve been able to reduce deployment timelines while improving cost efficiency across the programme.
