The first week of June is officially: SMALL BUSINESS WEEK That’s right. From 1st - 7th June 2026, we want the British public to do one very simple thing: Support small businesses!! Not Amazon. Not the giant corporations. Not the faceless, tax-dodging, multinationals that take money from every corner of the country and give precious little back. But the local businesses. The independent businesses. The family-run businesses. The businesses that create the jobs, take the risks, serve the communities, pay their taxes, keep the high streets alive and form the backbone of this country. For one week, we want you to visit them. Buy from them. Recommend them. Choose them. And most importantly, support them with their money. Because small businesses don’t need another round of applause, they need people to stop saying “we should support small businesses” and actually go and do it. That’s what Small Business Week is all about. They need support in the real world. On the ground. Real customers. Real sales. Real momentum. Managing a small business can be a lonely place. But when tens of thousands of small businesses stand together and, with one voice, tell the public: We’re here. We matter. And if you want thriving towns, proper communities, better service, real jobs and a healthier economy, then you need to support the small businesses who make all of that possible.
