Lübnan’ın başkenti Beyrut’un liman bölgesinde 4 Ağustos 2020 Salı günü meydana gelen büyük patlama, tüm dünyayı olduğu gibi bizleri de derinden sarsmıştır. Patlamada hayatını kaybedenlere Allah’tan rahmet, yaralılara ise acil şifalar diler, Lübnan Halkı’na ve Lübnan Devleti’ne en içten taziyelerimizi ve başsağlığı dileklerimizi sunarız. Doğu Akdeniz Üniversitesi olarak tüm Lübnanlı öğrencilerimizin ve tüm Lübnan Halkı’nın acısını paylaşıyoruz. Yaraların bir an önce sarılması ve böyle felaketlerin bir kez daha yaşanmaması en büyük temennimizdir. DAÜ Rektörlüğü ---------------- We are deeply saddened by the massive explosion that took place in the port area of Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, on Tuesday, the 4th of August 2020, causing tens of deaths and thousands of people injured. We express our sorrow for those who lost their lives in the explosion and wish an urgent recovery to the people who are wounded. We extend our sympathy and sincere condolences to the people of Lebanon. As Eastern Mediterranean University, we share the pain of all our Lebanese students and all Lebanese people.
