⚡ Stretching 700 kilometres across New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia, EnergyConnect links state grids for the first time in decades - unlocking renewable energy zones and strengthening reliability across the national network. Working in collaboration with Transgrid, Elecnor Australia, ElectraNet Pty Ltd and delivery partners, Downer has played a key role in delivering works across access, foundations, tower assembly, erection and stringing. This is infrastructure of national significance - complex, large-scale and built to perform for generations. With construction of the NSW section completed, we wanted to acknowledge the incredible effort of everyone involved in delivering Australia’s largest transmission project. With more than seven decades of experience in transmission, Downer continues to be a trusted partner - delivering the transmission superhighways that connect communities, enable renewables and support Australia’s energy future.
