Mental wellbeing continues to be a real and growing focus across the rail industry. Rail R U OK? Day, delivered with TrackSAFE Foundation and R U OK? highlights the broader role we all play in creating safer, more supportive workplaces. We understand the demands of our industry. Which is why the focus can’t sit with a single day. It needs to show up in how we work, lead and support our people every day. For our Rail teams, that means continuing to build awareness of psychosocial hazards and risks, investing in practical training, and strengthening the support available to our teams - including Mental Health First Aiders and wellbeing programs. We’re also working with Wellness in Infrastructure (WII), which connects us to broader industry resources and networks to improve mental wellbeing across the sector. Because while frameworks matter, culture is shaped in the moments in between. Standing for each other by taking the time to ask. Making space to listen. Knowing what to do next. 📸 The photos from across our sites this month capture exactly that - teams taking time to connect, step back, and have real conversations. 💬 As an industry, the opportunity now is to keep building on that momentum, so these behaviours become embedded in how we operate, every day.
