It was a unique intersection of customer and capability at the Indian Ocean Defence & Security (IODS) Conference and Exhibition last month, and Downer’s award-winning Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre Management team pulled out all the stops to ensure our Defence and industry colleagues had a seamless experience during the three-day conference. With 6,000+ attendees and over 200 exhibitors, #IODS was all in a day’s work for our team behind the scenes, who orchestrate over 600 events each year for over 900,000 visitors. The ability to deliver high-paced events for high-profile customers is one of the reasons Downer’s PCEC team won ‘Australia’s Best Convention Centre’ at the World MICE Awards.
