Full circle engineering - in action and steaming ahead! Built by Clyde Engineering, now part of Downer, iconic steam locomotive 3801 is a living piece of Australia’s rail history. Today, our Rail Engineering Consulting Services (ECS) is helping safeguard its future through an independent safety review of critical replacement components. Working closely with Transport Heritage NSW, our team is helping ensure the new components remain true to the original engineering while meeting modern safety expectations.
