🧠🖤 Beanies on for Brain Cancer 🏉 Around 300 employees from our Rail and Transit Systems (RTS) team in Cardiff and Downer Energy & Utilities team in Hexham proudly pulled on a beanie in support of the Mark Hughes Foundation Beanie for Brain Cancer campaign. Founded by former Newcastle Knights player Mark Hughes following his own brain cancer diagnosis, the Foundation is funding vital research and raising awareness of a disease that remains the leading cause of cancer death in children and adults under 40. Mat Dempsey, General Manager, Cardiff RTS shared: “For many Novocastrians, the Mark Hughes Foundation is more than a charity – it is a reminder that our local community has helped create national awareness, giving families battling brain cancer greater hope.
