Sabina Aguon, is now a GS-11 computer scientist at DISA Chambersburg, but her journey to her current position involved participation in two development programs at the agency - Scholarship for Service, and the formerly titled DISA Pathways Recent Graduate Program. Sabina learned about SFS during her time studying at Towson University, where she developed admiration and interest in DISA's mission. Her top advice for anyone coming into the agency under these types of developmental program is "do not underestimate your value to the workforce. Keep in mind that your colleagues and superiors were once in your shoes when they initiated their careers. Instead, leverage their knowledge and experience, and find ways to apply it toward your professional development."
