I just received an email from "Andreas Kainz". It seemed a little sus given that he had a Yahoo email address and consistently spelt his surname with a small k, but he said he found me on BDÜ, which does add an element of seriousness to the request. I tried searching for him and the company here on LinkedIn – neither of them have a profile here (red flag?), but I found the company website with the same support email address as mentioned in the email; however, I can't tell if they are the scammers or if the scammers are impersonating the company... Anyway, I saw this post from Paola Bortolotti-van Loon a little too late, as I'd already replied saying I'd be interested... Needless to say, I'll be blocking any further correspondence from Herr Kainz and will not be taking any work from Apex Publishing Services!
