While Jewish refugees rebuilt their lives, Palestinian refugees were locked into a system designed to preserve their refugee status forever through UNRWA, raising generations to inherit a grievance rather than a future. The world paid for flour, medicine and schools, allowing Palestinian leaders to spend their own budgets entirely on warfare. Billions flowed in, yet Gaza got tunnels, not bomb shelters; indoctrination, not opportunity. This isnโ€™t humanitarian support. Itโ€™s a structure that rewards rejectionism and traps civilians in perpetual conflict. If the international community truly cares about Palestinians, it must stop romanticizing the โ€œcauseโ€ and start demanding accountability, responsible leadership and a path to peace - for both peoples.
