💡 𝗚𝗮𝘇𝗮 𝗗𝗶𝗱𝗻’𝘁 𝗦𝘂𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗧𝗼𝗼 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗔𝗶𝗱, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗱 Hen Mazzig told a hard truth at Cambridge: Gaza’s crisis isn’t from 𝘵𝘰𝘰 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 aid - it’s from aid that replaced governance. While Jewish refugees rebuilt their lives, Palestinian refugees were locked into a system designed to preserve their refugee status forever through UNRWA, raising generations to inherit a grievance rather than a future. The world paid for flour, medicine and schools, allowing Palestinian leaders to spend their own budgets entirely on warfare. Billions flowed in, yet Gaza got tunnels, not bomb shelters; indoctrination, not opportunity. This isn’t humanitarian support. It’s a structure that rewards rejectionism and traps civilians in perpetual conflict. If the international community truly cares about Palestinians, it must stop romanticizing the “cause” and start demanding accountability, responsible leadership and a path to peace - for both peoples.
