KevOnStage Signs Tubi’s Most Expansive, History-Making Creator Deal to Date NAACP Image Award-winning comedian, actor, and New York Times bestselling author Kevin Fredericks, better known as KevOnStage, has made history by signing Tubi’s most expansive creator partnership deal to date. The multi-project, multi-year slate significantly expands his creative footprint on the platform while actively amplifying and creating new opportunities for up-and-coming Black creators. This latest collaboration will span multiple formats and genres, building on the massive success of Fredericks’ 2025 Tubi Original comedy series 'Safe Space.' The show’s eight-episode second season—which follows the wildly underqualified Dr. Fredericks (Fredericks) as he attempts to guide struggling couples back to a place of healing—is set to premiere on June 11, with a third season already scheduled to follow in July 2027. Beyond 'Safe Space,' Fredericks is cooking up an extensive lineup of fresh content, including a brand-new scripted workplace comedy, his first-ever streaming stand-up special, and a series of original feature films.
