Global Product and Market Manager for Peptide Synthesis & Purification | Empowering Peptide Scientists to Advance Pipelines and R&D | Founder-turned-commercial | Decade Bridging Peptide Science and Market
I'm excited to share that I am entering a new chapter in my career✨ Going forward, in addition to my role as Market Manager, I will take on the role of Product Manager for the peptides business at Gyros Protein Technologies, focusing on synthesis and purification products and services. Let me break this down 👇🏽 🧪 Peptide synthesis, particularly 𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐬𝐲𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐬, is a crucial component of nearly all modern peptide drug development. Consider GLP-1s like Tirzepatide or radiopharmaceuticals like Lutathera (to mention two of the most successful recent peptide drugs on the market) - their lead candidates were all once synthesized on a synthesizer. Additionally, 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐤 in the production step. Helping to design and build these solutions means contributing to the discovery of the next breakthrough therapeutic. 👩🏽🔬 This new role brings me one step 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬: scientists in academia and industry who design and create peptides that improve the world every day. I am very excited to work closely with these remarkable individuals, learn about their work, and translate their needs into better synthesis products and services. 💡 This is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with an outstanding group of professionals within Gyros Protein Technologies, including the R&D team with their leaders Robert Zitterbart, and Alexander Doumas, the sales team with James McAllister, Robert Durham, Gerrit Portier, together with their squad spanning Kenneth Lear, Chloe M., Derek Gonzales, Silvia Marini, Cátia Teixeira, Luísa Aguiar, the entire service team led by Peter Bergwall - and so many more in finances, marketing, administration and the BPD leadership team. If you've made it this far in reading my post, please 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐞 𝐚 𝐃𝐌 - let's get the conversation started🚀 #forpeptidescientists
