For anyone who wants to use AI beyond PoCs, FinOps is becoming a necessity, not a nice-to-have. The rising CapEx costs of infrastructure providers are increasingly reflected in the OpEx costs of cloud users. A recent example is Hetzner Cloud, where selected cloud services have recently become significantly more expensive. Some instances now cost three times as much as before. At the same time, AI is fundamentally changing the cost logic of cloud.
