Proud to see our Chairman, David Tyler, contributing to the Chapter Zero conversation during last London Climate Action Week. His message was clear: there is no long-term value without sustainability. "After all" David Said, "how many companies would survive in the end in a 2.5°C world? Or if the climate crisis led to a breakdown in social cohesion?". Boards have a responsibility to ensure sustainability is measured and embedded into strategy, capital allocation and decision-making. At Domestic & General, this is reflected in how our business is designed. We operate a repair-first model, extending the life of customers’ appliances wherever possible. It lowers costs, reduces waste and cuts carbon. We are also using innovation to scale that impact. Tools like SmartFix help customers resolve issues instantly, avoiding unnecessary engineer visits and reducing emissions while improving the experience. Importantly, this isn’t just about operational improvement. It’s about shifting industry economics — incentivising longer-lasting products and supporting a more circular model. With our scale across markets, we have both the opportunity and the obligation to influence how the industry evolves. Thank you to Chapter Zero and the LSEG for convening leaders to drive this agenda forward. #Sustainability #CircularEconomy #ClimateLeadership #BoardLeadership #LondonClimateActionWeek #DomesticAndGeneral
