To others, it’s a 3D puzzle. To us, it’s a case for BIM. 🧩 The Maria Ward School is getting ready for the future – right in the heart of Bamberg’s Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1993. The biggest challenge: A spectacular concrete roof with many different slopes and shapes, each formwork element one-of-a-kind. The solution: BIM-based formwork planning in Revit. Due to the digital twin, the project could be prepared with precision and implemented efficiently. All components were precisely planned, numbered, and manufactured to fit perfectly - almost like a giant 3D construction site puzzle. Because what’s extraordinary for others is standard for us.
