The digital twin behind a 37.5 m protection screen at Atlassian Central in Sydney. At 39 storeys, Atlassian Central, co-owned by Dexus and Atlassian in the heart of Sydney is the world's tallest hybrid timber commercial building. Delivered by Built, in joint venture with Obayashi Corporation, the tower combines timber, steel and concrete in a complex high-rise structure. Before our 37.5 metre  Protection screen Xclimb 60 was installed on site, it had already been fully developed in a detailed digital model. For this project, Doka delivered a complete LOD 400 BIM model containing all the details necessary for formwork assembly, digitally defining every interface and component of the Xclimb 60 solution. This level of detail enabled the climbing sequence, the interaction with the hybrid timber structure and the spatial constraints of the dense urban environment to be coordinated long before construction began. With the digital twin, our customer gained full clarity on how the system would perform on site, enabling clash-free planning and supporting precise logistics. The project demonstrates once again how we put ourselves in others' shoes to create understanding and trust.
