Khadijah Shtayat’s Doctolib journey didn’t start with a job application. It started with a doctor’s appointment. ✨ As an expat in a new country, she used Doctolib to find care. Later, after discovering our engineering blog, she knew she didn’t just want to use the app. She wanted to help build it. Today, as Engineering Manager in Berlin, Khadijah leads the LION team, building infrastructure that helps healthcare professionals access the right tools, patients and clinical information, exactly when they need them. One example: enabling German doctors to automatically receive medical device results directly in Doctolib. Less manual work. More time for care. Her leadership mindset is simple: build teams that can act, decide and grow with trust. Her team proves it every day, handling incidents autonomously and reaching 99.9% availability coverage on systems healthcare professionals rely on. She brings that same energy beyond her team, from speaking at our “Building Authentic Careers: Women in Tech & SaaS” event to helping students discover what building tech for healthcare really looks like. From patient to builder to Manager, Khadijah’s story captures what engineering at Doctolib is about: useful technology, real impact, and more time for care. 💙 Open roles in our engineering team via the link in the comments 👇
