Hey everyone! No AI here, although it’s getting harder not to talk about it 🙃 AI is showing impressive results in generating 3D meshes, and of course, it will inevitably be integrated into the pipeline of every major studio. This is neither good nor bad — it’s simply reality. Among the models currently delivering decent results, we can highlight Tripo AI, Meshy AI, and Hyper3D with its Rodin model. There may be other solutions out there that I’m not yet aware of. However, this post is about an asset I created without using AI. It might be one of my last such posts. At the moment, AI still needs to be in the right hands to achieve the desired results. Of course, over time this will change, and AAA assets will become much more accessible from a production standpoint.
