A lot of what keeps facilities running never makes it into a report, but you feel it every day if you’re paying attention. It’s someone catching something before it becomes an issue. A supervisor circling back instead of assuming it’s handled. A team that knows the site well enough to trust their instincts and speak up. That kind of awareness doesn’t come from a checklist. It comes from people who are trained to think about the work, not just complete it. That’s why at DMS we spend so much time on how our teams are developed. When people understand expectations, take ownership, and actually care about the outcome, the work becomes steady. And clients feel that. Even if they don’t always know exactly why.
