Chicago has no shortage of great restaurants. But it's harder and harder to have an amazing night out. Costs are up, reservations are scarce, and there's a side to these great restaurants that most diners never get to see. That's what I built Savarin to change. Food has always been how I understand a place, a culture, a person. I've planned every vacation I've ever taken around reservations, driven hours away to taste something new, and I spend most of a meal with friends talking about our favorite dishes and where we should all go next. The food has to be extraordinary (that part is non-negotiable), but what I'm really chasing is what happens when people get to share it. Building a community of people who love food as much as I do—and building it around meals worth remembering—stopped feeling like an idea and started feeling like something I had to do. So I did. Savarin is a members-only dining club in Chicago—a community of people who are serious about food without taking themselves too seriously, built around off-menu tastings, chef access, and events you simply can't reserve on your own. The chef isn't just in the kitchen; they're at your table, sharing the story behind what's on your plate. Events are never marked up. Everything is included. You just show up; everything else is taken care of. If this sounds like your kind of evening, I'd love to have you join us at the table! Link in the comments.
