One of the things I enjoy most about hospitality education is that even familiar concepts can be seen from a completely different perspective. Recently, Chef Udit shared a light-hearted yet insightful way of understanding the Menu Engineering Matrix, comparing menu categories with different types of students. What initially seemed humorous turned into a memorable lesson on profitability, popularity, and decision-making. Sometimes, the best learning happens when complex concepts are explained through simple analogies. This perspective made menu engineering much easier to visualize and, more importantly, harder to forget. Thank you, Chef UDIT BISWAS, for reminding us that teaching is not just about delivering information—it's about making knowledge relatable, engaging, and memorable. "A good chef teaches recipes. A great chef teaches perspective." Looking forward to carrying these lessons forward as a hospitality student and future professional. #HospitalityEducation #MenuEngineering #FoodProduction #CulinaryArts #HospitalityManagement #LearningByDoing #KitchenKnowledge #FutureHospitalityProfessional #ChefLife #HospitalityStudents #FoodAndBeverage #CulinaryEducation #NotesFromThePass #LearningNeverStops
