New Publication Highlight | Radioligand Therapy in Early-Stage Prostate Cancer š Ā We are pleased to share our latest publication in the European Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (February 2026): https://lnkd.in/dwDxjDf4 š Key findings at a glance: Ā 1. Significant PSA decline observed after [¹ā·ā·Lu]Lu-PSMA-RLT in therapy-naĆÆve mHSPC patients; 2. 62.5% of patients achieved ā„50% PSA reduction; 3. Median PSA progression-free survival reached 24.6 months in responders; 4. Baseline total tumor volume (TTV) and metastatic burden predicted ADT-free and any-therapy-free survival; 5. Excellent tolerability with no severe treatment-related adverse events. Ā š Notably, PSMA PETāderived SUV parameters did not differentiate responders from non-responders, suggesting a more homogeneous tumor biology in treatment-naĆÆve mHSPC patients. This study provides important insights into the potential role of [¹ā·ā·Lu]Lu-PSMA-RLT earlier in the disease course, while highlighting the need for prospective trials to further define patient selection and clinical benefit. Congratulations to the author team for this valuable contribution to translational and clinical nuclear medicine!
