I am incredibly thrilled to share a glimpse of my final presentation for my Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering at Universitas Andalas. My research, titled "Risk Analysis of Frozen Passion Fruit Pulp Agroindustry Development in Solok Regency", explores the strategic transformation of Markisa Konyal (Sweet Passion Fruit) from a highly perishable fresh fruit into a premium frozen pulp product. While this downstreaming effort offers massive economic potential and aligns perfectly with global Clean Label trends, establishing a new agroindustry presents various risks across the input, production, and marketing stages. To ensure a resilient and sustainable ecosystem, I conducted a comprehensive risk analysis with the following key highlights: π Methodology: Applied the ISO 31000 framework, utilizing Fuzzy-FMEA to minimize subjective biases in risk assessment, and the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) integrated with PESTEL to prioritize mitigation strategies. β οΈ Critical Finding: Out of 30 identified risks, the most critical threat actually lies upstream: Crop Switching by Farmers. π‘ Top Priority Solution: The implementation of a Quality-Based Integrated Partnership Contract System emerged as the absolute priority to secure the raw material supply, ensure farmers' income stability, and prevent side-selling. A massive thank you to my supervisor, Prof. Dr. Ir. Rika Ampuh Hadiguna, S.T., M.T., IPU, ASEAN Eng, and my examiners for their invaluable guidance throughout this journey. Check out the video below for a quick dive into my research! I would love to hear your thoughts or discuss this further in the comments. π #IndustrialEngineering #RiskManagement #Agroindustry #RiskAnalysis #FuzzyFMEA #AHP #UniversitasAndalas #WomenInSTEM
