Hackathon Experience at Hack Kshetra, VVCE Mysore π Participating in the Hack Kshetra hackathon was an exhilarating experience! Working with my team for 24 hours straight pushed us to our creative and technical limits. This hackathon taught me a lot about teamwork, quick problem-solving, and handling challenges head-on. Every unexpected issue was a chance to learn and adapt quickly, revealing strengths I didnβt know I had. πͺπ‘ What I Learned π§ 1. Teamwork and Collaboration: Working under pressure showed us how to play to each other's strengths, divide tasks smartly, and communicate effectively. 2. Ability in Problem-Solving: Encountering issues meant thinking on our feet and finding quick fixes, which helped us keep momentum. 3. Technical Skills Boost: Implementing the Alumni Tracking System under tight deadlines sharpened my technical skills and introduced new tools into my toolkit. Features of the Alumni Tracking System π: 1.Alumni Profiles π: Alumni can create and update profiles with essential details like graduation year, current roles, and achievements. 2.Admin Dashboard with Analytics π: The system has a dedicated admin page with built-in analytics, allowing admins to verify users, monitor engagement, and keep unauthorized users out. 3.Job, Event, and Journal Posting πΌποΈ: Both alumni and admin can post jobs, events, and journals, helping the community stay informed and connected. 4.Search and Filter π: Users can find alumni by batch, location, industry, and other criteria, making networking super simple. 5.Direct Messaging π¬: Alumni and admin can directly message each other, creating an open line of communication. 6.Donation Module πΈ: Alumni can contribute funds to support their institution, with multiple payment options for ease. 7.Notifications and Real-Time Updates π: Users receive instant alerts for new job postings, event reminders, or replies in discussions. Hack Kshetra was about more than building a projectβit was about pushing limits, collaborating, and having fun. Overall, this experience left me feeling inspired, confident, and proud of what we accomplished!
