We’re excited to share that three of our Members have been appointed to Governor Josh Shapiro’s newly established Governor’s Advisory Commission on People with Disabilities. Congratulations to Josie Badger, Monica Albert Still, and Chaz Kellem, and our friend, Hunter Steintz on their appointment and to Josie, who will serve as the Executive Director of the commission. This appointment is a reflection of their commitment to disability advocacy and service to Pennsylvania's disabled population. Read more about the commission here: https://lnkd.in/g2p5-dcQ If you remember, in April, Governor Shapiro signed Executive Order 2026-02, which officially established the Governor’s Advisory Commission on People with Disabilities. This commission will recommend policy, engage with federal/state/local agencies, communicate state initiatives to the public, and compile information on programs, funding, and additional support to create an inclusive resource for Pennsylvanians. Join us in congratulating these leaders in the comments.👇 #DisabilityInclusion #InclusiveLeadership #Disability #DisabilityRights #AccessibilityMatters #Advocacy #DisabilityLeadership #Leadership #Inclusion #DisabilityJustice #ProfessionalDevelopment #LeadersWithDisabilities #Accessibility #DisabilityPride (Graphic 1 is of Josie Badger.
