....Was as worried as it gets with any PhD student waiting for the outcomes of both thesis corrections and a paper submission that contained not only part of the thesis, but also part of my heart (An In Vitro Model of Acute CNS Injury combined with Ischaemia and LPS-induced Inflammation), and waking up to that many CONGRATULATIONS emails (I included a representative sample only :D) is something I wish all my friends and peers in research would witness.. A year ago, I was thinking: what if the results don't match my hopes (i.e., the null hypothesis)? But #Cl_amidine and #Peptidylarginine_Deiminases inhibition never fail to impress me! My cover photo is an actual representation of how Cl-amidine reduced the inflammation through reducing histone citrullination; you can tell the impressive difference! with more of the Cl-amidine contribution to neurons and astrocytes here https://lnkd.in/eGE_8Q3G Many thanks to my miraculous Director of Studies Prof. Sigrun Lange, and my incredibly awesome supervisors, Dr Stephen Getting and Dr Maria Ashioti Here is to the summer graduation!
